The Catufa boardwalk project is located in the municipality of Saldaña in the founders neighborhood on the banks of the Saldaña river, this project aims to design a boardwalk with public spatiality as a disruptive link to the activities currently in the sector, with the end of optimization of the sociocultural and economic activities of the municipality. This project is focused and directed especially to the population of the municipality in order to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality and conserve the environment. The means to achieve this goal is the architectural design of a project that is characterized by social, economic, tourism and environmental inclusion. With a project that is composed of three different ships of two and three stories high that converge in a central point known articulating axis, the design of the volumetry was inspired by the geometric shapes and patterns that are evidenced in the structure of the old bridge. In the same way, the project has different areas that strengthen various activities such as sales galleries, commercial areas, cultural and educational activities areas.
