Resumen
The municipality of Melgar located east of the department of Tolima has been cataloged over the years as a tourist municipality nationwide. Its climate and its famous sea of swimming pools make it home to families that in holiday seasons from different parts of the country. This phenomenon generates a great demand for sporadic inhabitants that are gradually becoming a reason for progress and development for the families there. What the Central Emergency Project for Infants is intended to meet is the demand regarding the issue of health in the municipality, since the Louis Pasteur Level I hospital falls short in terms of the problems of the municipality, its surroundings and tourists that every eight days form an external population but vital for the municipality. The proposal implements a new equipment that meets the basic needs of immediate care for the Melgarense infant population, a population that is affected by insecurity, poverty and lack of sexual planning and orientation in young people, since most existing family nuclei in the hospital they are mothers head of household or homes made up of young people who have not exceeded 23 years.
