Resumen
In this work, optical properties such as transmission, reflection and absorption of 1D photonic crystals consisting of Cu3TMSe4 (TM = V, Nb, Ta) sulvanite compounds and air have been studied. The influence of thickness, number of periods N, and incident angle of light for both TE and TM polarizations have been theoretically investigated using the transfer-matrix formalism. The results show optical response for frequencies located in the infrared region where the dissipative effects are low, high transmission intensity in the TE mode for light normal incidence and for TM polarization, a tunable gap and an enlarged transmission with the increase of the incidence angle. We believe these findings in 1D air-sulvanite photonic crystals can be used in future infrared technological applications.
