La Clínica Tolima S.A. It is an Institution of tradition in the department of Tolima, created in order to provide health services of medium and high complexity. The institution has always been concerned with remaining at the forefront among the entities of its class, with constant development in all areas related to the treatment of patients, to satisfy the needs and expectations of its users. For this reason, the need arose to propose and test strategies that have a positive and initial impact on the existing dynamics of the Emergency service, because this service is considered the main door of users to the other services of the entity. For this case, it was vital to adopt simulation using the SIMIO software as a base strategy, in order to analyze and carry out tests without having to directly affect the personnel and locative resources available to the service, avoiding that these possible improvements or tests may impair and / or restrict the care and integrity of patients.
