Companies that follow a strategic orientation know that any product or service has a life cycle; they know how to take advantage of it, but also when they have to migrate or change when it no longer influences or contributes to the company. In this paper, a business case is presented in the agricultural sector, a sector that has contributed to growth in the country's economy, but, at present, has been forced to evolve from the traditional to a more formal and competitive one. As a result of globalization, together with an increase in imports, demanding stakeholders and destabilizing policies for the business, there is an oversupply of products that causes a strong blow to profits. In this sense, this paper proposes a plan that allows reorienting the strategy of the company Inversiones Agropecuarias DOIMA 2021, through a cost reduction with a value proposition compatible with said reduction. The proposal is to define and implement an emerging hybrid strategy based on knowledge of the business and the environment in order to model actions that strengthen the effectiveness and competitiveness of the company. Improvements in technology are proposed aimed at the development of ecologically responsible precision agriculture, the development of personnel training programs with the development of professionals and technicians in the agricultural area, promote agricultural research and orient the response capacity towards the crops of sugar cane and corn, with these proposals an improvement in the return on investment is expected, but, above all, a new vision for the company within the sector.
