Resumen
In the aftermath of 1715 law from 2014, the energy production scene in Colombia was clearly altered by a government energy policy aimed at the implementation of non-conventional sources of renewable energy. In order to achieve that some incentives were applied and issued the guidelines necessary to regulate the mechanisms of commercialization from the energetic surplus breakthrough of those alternative sources. Taking into account what mentioned before, this article tackles the concept of energetic production democratization in Colombia in contrast of the process of transformation of the dogmatic and the principles bases of the home public service of energy. To sum, in the end of the writing, the reader will be able to glimpse the huge representation of the current normativity within the energetic and economic arena of the country, owing to the clear changing of the final users of the electric service from being a passive agent to be a self-energy generator inside the energetic structure – which not only is fulfilling the need of the essential public service at the same time that spurs the energy in the country’s interconnected system.
