Resumen

The general purpose of the present project is to carry out an analysis of the procedures of the Educational Aid Unit of the University of Ibagué. In such a way that we can know the operation status of the unit for the realization of the reengineering of the same and the evaluation of workloads generating an input that supports the architectural requirements for the design of a software tool, which allows the automation of the processes and services provided by the department. Achieving the improvement of the performance of the evaluated functions, because of the obsolete conditions such as: reservation systems, delivery and loan formats, inventory verification and control of the monitors who handle these processes in a manual manner, incurring in situations that make the adequate development of the necessary tasks to meet the events that occur daily in the unit, avoiding the fulfillment of the mission of Educational Aid.
