Resumen
Taking into account the recent need to link renewable generators with the conventional electrical system and to optimize the electrical distribution, the microgrids become the preferred alternative solution, and the investigation about them grow significantly. That is why microgrids simulators are an essential tool in the development of these systems. In this document, the process of design and implementation of a hybrid microgrid simulator from simplified mathematical models in terms of power and a dynamic interface in LabVIEW is described. With the simulator, it is possible to study and analyze microgrid operation for different parameters, environmental conditions and real generation-consumption profiles, as well as the evaluation of control methods. The development of the simulator begins with the mathematical models and controllers design for different operating modes. Then, the implementation of the equations and the control is deployed in LabVIEW. Finally, with test scenarios, the correct operation of the simulator is verified.
