The reality of a town that lives next to the Magdalena River with that all this implies, the tradition, the landscape, the people. Whole that is the reason of this project. La Chamba, Tolima is located in the high valleys of the Magdalena River, 10 km from the of El Guamo, in a south-east direction it has a semi-humid warm climate, the characteristics of its soils are piedmont. The Chamba as a designation of origin denotes the existence of a Land/Earth that gives identity to the settlement, the black mud of La Chamba and her many cultural manifestations that grow around are the point of cohesion of a community that revolves around handmade production. The production of these elements and the lack of an external relationship for the improvement in marketing is one of the objectives of the current work, this approach from an architectural fact that offers appropriation conditions for the territory and which in turn It becomes the fundamental axis of the architecture of the place with its cultural components, supporting uses of both relations with foreign trade and which in turn is a milestone in the commercial tourism projection that is made of it.
