This research work allows the study and analysis of the mechanical properties of geo-cells made with used tires; its purpose is to determine and analyze the behavior of the cells that generate confinement in a granular material and which, in addition, was subjected to subjected to mutiple loads in a period defined by the máximum deformation experienced by said material; following an experimental methodology with application of cyclic loads in facilities of the University of Ibague, to compare the deformations and pressures in materials without any reinforcement and with reinforcement base don tire geocells. As a result of the tests, it was analyzed and it could be concluded that the interaction between the granular soil and the geocells porduced a greater resistance to axial deformation and decrease in internal layer pressures; being a posible alternative in the development of imporvement of third level roads.
