Resumen

Agriculture is one of the main economic activities developed in the department of Tolima; within this economic sector, there are companies that commercialize agricultural inputs and provide technical assistance services in cultivation. However, this group of companies has also been joined by mills, which within their portfolio have included technical assistance services and marketing of agricultural inputs. Given the energetic and diverse competition that has been occurring in the sector, and seeking to strengthen and differentiate in the market, the managers of INAGRO S.A.S have allowed a diagnosis of the company in favor of continuous improvement in each of the areas of the same, for its strengthening and consolidation in the sector where it develops its activities. This document compiles the numerical and graphical results obtained from the business diagnosis made to the company INAGRO S.A.S; which is a company dedicated to the marketing of agricultural inputs and technical assistance services in the cultivation in the central and northern area of the department. In the same way, the respective analysis of each functional area of the company are found, evidences and improvement plans with the purpose of optimizing the areas that present weakness and to improve their position in the market.
