Resumen

With the purpose of describing the functionality of the design implemented by the community of Las Hormas and of identifying the possible weaknesses and making suggestions, a field study was made for determine and document the different structures which conform the town’s aqueduct; for this the calculation of capacity and the calculations for determining the hydraulic offer and the demand for water in the sector, concluding that the aqueduct supplies the current demand with a limit of 235 inhabitants. Also, every time a new user arrives to the aqueduct this will have to adapt all the boxes of repartition. Even with this knowledge the aqueduct that currently functions in Las Hormas is susceptible to being replicated by other communities with similar conditions.
