Resumen

The diagnosis for the current process of monitoring, control and monitoring of the budget of the Peace and Region Program (PPR) of the University of Ibagué, is developed in order to visualize the updated, detailed and disaggregated budgetary information to support immediate decision making, in addition to shortening the time in the mission processes of said program and accurately monitoring the expenses and income of money that are presented on a day-to-day basis. Currently, the PPR has a budget system that is visualized through the Iceberg program, which is a software managed by the university, therefore, generates the information globally and with delays in each budget movement made, since it takes a few days to be loaded into the system, as a result of the delay of administrative processes. Adding to this, the PPR manages the main items in a basic document in Excel, in which day-to-day expenses are recorded, which prevents having a complete and efficient understanding of the actual budget of this program. For the aforementioned, it is used to design a system created through Microsoft Access that provides a precise and concrete solution to respond to these needs, which helps to speed up the processes of Request for Progress to an Event, Legalization and creation of reports, reducing time considerably by each official at the time of performing these tasks.
