Resumen

The hydrosanitary facilities are a set of pipes and connections of different materials and diameters that allow the feeding and distribution of drinking water and drainage within the construction. The purpose of this work is to analyze and interpret the most appropriate methods for the design of hydraulic and sanitary facilities, selected in the study of art as the methods most used by different authors in their texts Table 49. From here, they are analyzed and evaluate parameters such as probable demand, speed, flow and the relation efficiency / cost, the previous taking into account what is defined in the standards for Colombia, such as the Technical Regulation of the Potable Water and Basic Sanitation Sector RAS and the Colombian Technical Standard NTC 1500. Subsequently, a selection of the most convenient method for the design of the hydraulic and sanitary installations is made, all this to finally result in the design of the plumbing lines applied to two case studies (a two-story multi-family house and a five-story building)
