Resumen

This final work aims to develop an urban design guide and give an appropriate response to the user of the Saldaña Tolima market square, since this is the result of a socio-cultural and economic context that includes different characteristics to generate a revitalization urban by giving the municipality of Murillo Tolima a new reading. For this, it is proposed to relocate the market place to a new location, due to its conflict of land use in addition to not complying with the current earthquake resistant standards (NSR10), to consolidate a new regional economy for the municipality, not only because of its infrastructure as such, but also for its socio-economic and cultural impact. The market square in Saldaña is designed to develop several aspects which are the personal interaction and inclusion of people, merchants, sellers and consumers that will strengthen the aspect of coexistence in people, in addition to its economy, production of inputs, attractiveness of the culture of the people, their religious beliefs and gastronomic history of Saldaña Tolima. With all this development from the tourist activities, an articulation of the river dock is created, establishing the port in an appropriate way, solution to the tertiary roads of lousy development and solving the labor part of the artisans, all this in favor of the Development of Saldaña for positive effects on agricultural products, this whole approach will help create new employment opportunities for the municipality.
