Firstly, as mentioned in the title, the public bicycle systems in Ibagué will be evaluated, their impact and the opportunities they may have for expansion; The public bicycle as a means of transport in short journeys and its ease to access a unified system with other public transport systems, the use of public bicycles can be an alternative that contributes to increase the degree of user satisfaction, the benefits can be great from the point of view of health, economic and energy saving and polluting. The main objective of this project is to evaluate various aspects of the impact of public bicycles in Ibagué; In order to arrive at this, the different modes of operation of these existing services in Ibague and their characteristics will be identified, as well as to inquire about their cost, their reception by the people and their benefits, in order to propose possible expansions and articulation of the current systems . This theme seeks to contribute to the unplanned growth and development of the city, and positive economic effects given the problematic consequences of the accessibility of public space and environmental degradation and sustainable development.
