Throughout the evolution of our country, it is observed that companies are increasing, which must comply with a series of safety and health standards at work, this prevents the organization from having to face fines for legal breach of the SG-SST. The application of this management system is important for each stage of the company and allows the implementation of prevention and control measures that are specifically oriented to protect the worker from accidents and illnesses in the workplace. For this reason, it was intended to design a work plan for compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety System according to the needs of the American School of Ibagué, since it does not have that, being the initial problem since without the current regulations submit fines, sanctions and organizational problems. The main objective of the degree work was to design the health and safety management system at work in the American School of Ibagué, which has 5 chapters: Approach to the problem and its justification, objectives, reference framework, methodology and finally the results, 3 annexes which are: a) Initial evaluation of compliance with the minimum standards. b) Risk assessment and c) Annual work plan. The methodology to achieve our objectives is to transform variable concepts, taking measures to finally obtain real data identifying risks, dangers and action plans to solve problems, carrying out three key stages, diagnosis of compliance with minimum standards, identification of risks and preparation of a work plan for the correct implementation of the minimum standards. The initial evaluation of compliance with the minimum standards is a way to verify the current state of the Institution, where it can be seen that it has, before carrying out the research work. A second evaluation of the minimum standards was carried out at the end of the work, and a comparison was made with the initial one. Following this, the risk and danger panorama format was developed, which has the purpose of thoroughly identifying the possible risks presented within the American School of Ibagué, mainly a check was made by zones, analyzing what dangers exist, and what was the origin of this, taking relevant data and doing an in-depth investigation of the events presented in the last years of the Institution. Work was carried out in accordance with the Colombian Technical Guide (GTC45) version 2012, to prepare the diagnosis of working conditions Finally, an annual work plan has been carried out, which is one of the fundamental pillars for the system to be maintained with adequate time, with respect to the data obtained previously, from annexes a and b. It seeks what activities are going to be carried out and integrated in order to fulfill its function. Designed for the best development of the minimum standards that are not met, and that the Institution has a schedule of activities based on this. As a result, greater control and prevention of occupational risks were achieved, a reduction in the probability of accidents within the institution, an index of the health status of the workers, all the legally signed and socialized records between the workers and managers, and a history of the Institution with all the important antecedents, such as incidents and accidents presented in recent years. Finally, the report on the preparation of the proposal for the implementation of the SG-SST in the American School of Ibagué will be delivered to the University.
