Resumen

This work arises from the research assistance provided by Juan Alejandro Ramírez, international business administration student and IAESTE volunteer, in the research project directed by Héctor Godoy Hernández who, in his role as director of the Office of International Relations and also as Secretary General of IAESTE, seeks to measure the real impact of the development of remunerated professional practices abroad through the program in terms of student employability. As for any organization, it is extremely important for IAESTE to determine what is being done adequately, and also which aspects are susceptible to improvement, in order to provide students with a better practical experience, strengthen their professional profile and facilitate their subsequent employability and insertion in the global labor market. In this way, the results of this research become relevant and will be useful for the subsequent strategic direction of IAESTE Colombia, in addition to serving as a basis for future instruments for measuring the quality and relevance of the practices carried out, not only in terms of employability.
