The development of the degree work "Business diagnosis, improvement plan and impact proposal of the company Alimentos Cárnicos Tovar SAS", began initially with the help of the Excel template Light business diagnosis created by Mr. Diego Silva, in addition to having the constant accompaniment of the company manager Álvaro Tovar and his collaborators, on the other hand, it was very supportive to access the specialist books on marketing, commercialization and franchising from the virtual library of the University of Ibagué. After obtaining the results of said diagnosis, an improvement plan was made for the areas that needed to be strengthened, based specifically on the marketing area since according to the studies of the diagnosis it presents greater weakness, continuous to this improvement plan a proposal of impact in order to increase the presence in the regional and national market for the company Tovar, this was constituted through a restructuring of the distribution channels that the company currently managed, in addition, an approach was made to a new franchise business model that allowed Cárnicos Tocar points of sale to have a presence throughout the department of Tolima.
