Resumen

The textile industry in Colombia over the years has been one of the fundamental pillars of the economy, but as in all economic sectors there are times when this sector has entered a crisis either due to lack of guarantees or due to mismanagement. in its operation. The objective of this work is to design an improvement path through the lean six sigma method in the clothing processes in companies in the textile sector. As mentioned above, the lean six sigma methodology, the DMAIC, will be used, which will show step by step how to apply it to a company with examples for greater understanding. As an example, we will take a company dedicated to the manufacture of men's shorts and pants called Mr Brajú located in the city of Ibagué, where its main problem is delays in the clothing area and they seek to reduce these times by generating some type of incentives in workers to reduce costs as well.
