Resumen

This paper presents a systematic vision of literature relating to techniques or models that being used to evaluate health system performance, identify and classify the theoretical models and the most representative institutional models. This need appears thanks to the suggest model’s diversity in present to define a standardize the restrain to evaluate the performance and improve the sanitary systems. A systematic search was carried out to identify on literature publications related with evaluation of health system performance. To analyze the information of those techniques or models is handled in three parts, starting with general descriptive analysis, where it searches to know the tendency and information registers, the second part shows a network analysis that look for identify the groups or the interrelation on different investigation´s most influential areas, finally describe the techniques or models used to evaluate the health systems. Some of the findings are diversity of the models that look for adapt to different health system around the world to standardize but have not succeed due to the diversity of environment where the systems are developed.
