Resumen

This monograph consists of an application programmed in Excel and Visual Basic for Excel that makes the design of reinforced concrete beams and additionally supplies its design planes to flexural and shear with all the necessary specifications to carry out its construction. For this, the application receives data supplied by the structural analysis software ETABS and with this data rectangular beams are designed from Load and Resistance Factor Design, additionally, all the requirements of NSR-10 are taken into account. This design proposes a longitudinal reinforcing for flexural design and a cross-sectional reinforcing for shear design with its respective cross-section, besides to supplying the previously mentioned drawings in a drawing format widely accepted by computer-aided design drawing applications, as it is the dxf format.
