Resumen

This research work arises from the need to improve the logistics practices of Agropecuaria La Ceiba Gonella Hnos Ltda, since it was evidenced that there is an inefficient management in the processes generating an impact on the production and the financial situation of the company. With the problems encountered, its current diagnosis is documented and a logistics management model based on the Lambert Model and its eight key business processes is proposed that leads to improving the competitiveness of the company and towards the implementation of good logistics practices. Therefore, the logistics management model is formulated with the fulfillment of the specific objectives; First, the main components of the Lambert model that affect the logistics management of the company are identified; second, the current diagnosis is made with the main components already identified in agriculture; third, the logistics strategies are formulated to mitigate the already evident problems and finally the strategic implementation plan for each of the proposed strategies is established.
