A research focused on the implementation of a hospital logistics model that allows the hospital a continuous improvement in the provision of its service will be carried out, from the point of view of new techniques and the characterization of second-level hospitals, in order to know the benefits that this model will generate and how it contributes to the efficiency and growth of the hospital in terms of the provision of its services. Some of the effects presented by the hospital are organizational and operational, given that great shortcomings are generated a t the organizational and logistical level, this affects the performance of the hospital and generates great disagreements in the provision of its service since there is no systematized plan that helps to be more efficient care in the hospital. For this research, the logistics management model to be implemented is achieved through the fulfillment of three specific objectives. The first establishes the conceptual bases and premises involved in hospital logistics. The second identifies and characterizes the actors, roles and their interrelationships for the general diagnosis of the hospital in terms of logistics and finally an evaluation and implementation of the logistics model is carried out to determine a continuous improvement plan for the provision of services and that is more efficient in the Neira hospital (Caldas).
