- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAnálisis del índice normalizado de diferencia de vegetación (NDVI) en la zona oriente del departamento del Tolima(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Peña Barrera, Rossana Karina; Caicedo Sterling, Edwin; Hernández López, Jorge ArmandoThe vegetative spaces within an environment undergo changes over the years due to both external and internal agents in a way that is beneficial or detrimental to the ecosystem. This is the case of the eastern region of Tolima, which has been affected mainly by agricultural activities that are developed there as the cultivation of rice, in addition, weather events such as the phenomenon of the child have influenced the evolution of vegetation in this region. The objectives to be developed include determining the behavior of vegetation, analysing the spatial and temporal variability of vegetative behavior and finally identifying the types of vegetation cover within the areas mentioned above. With the help of ArcGIS, software that through the normalized differential vegetation index (NDVI) an analysis was carried out in the department of Tolima, specifically the eastern zone (Coello, Flandes, Espinal, Guamo, Saldaña, Purificación, Prado, Cunday, Suarez, Carmen de Apicalá, Icononzo, Villarrica and Melgar), in such a way that the changes that the vegetal coverage of this zone has undergone between 1970 and 2017 are evidenced. It was evident, in general, that the department of Tolima in the southeast has undergone a series of changes in its vegetation in an irregular manner since they depend on climatic phenomena such as that presented in 2016 by the strong phenomenon of the child or the boom in rice cultivation in the 90's, likewise the efforts to reforest different areas carried out by CORTOLIMA has balanced the percentage of vegetation in the forests.
- PublicaciónRestringidoAsistencia de investigación: Caracterización y evaluación energética del sistema piloto de producción de biodisel de la Universidad de Ibagué(Universidad de Ibagué, 2018) Huertas Solano, Cristian David; Hernández Sarabia, MauricioIn the following report, the biodiesel production pilot plant is characterized in a detailed way, in which mechanical plans are presented. It is also possible to identify that the system has a maximum production capacity of 109 liters of biodiesel, in turn, an energetic evaluation of each one of the electrical components is elaborated, where a high consumption of energy is evidenced in the agitator motor. On the other hand, an energetic study is developed in which the use of water steam (supplied by means of the boiler), or electric resistances inside the deposits for the heating of the fish oil is evaluated, allowing to evidence that by means of the first heating medium the efficiency is low, but the processing time is 7 times faster than with electric resistances, opposite case with the second heating method which presents an efficiency of 98%, but presented not to be suitable due to the damage of the same in the first stage. Subsequently, indicators are determined in the production of biodiesel, such as energy consumption in kWh per kg of biodiesel processed, for which there was a high consumption of available energy and little used, in turn the amount of kWh/tank where it has been identified that 75% of electrical energy is generated in the transesterification stage, while 85.71% of thermal energy is generated in the preheating of water for washing biodiesel. Tables and graphs are then drawn up to explain in detail the study carried out.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAsistencia de investigación: Evaluación de una red experimental para un sistema fotovoltaico con capacidad de 5.0 kw en la Universidad de Ibagué(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Plata González, Jesús David; Valverde Granja, AgustínThe University of Ibagué (UI), has had a growth in students in the last 10 years of more than 60%, that is to say, from having 3600 students in the year 2006 to 6000 during the first semester of 2016, at par with the growth of the number of students, the infrastructure has also grown and has been invested in the construction of classrooms, laboratories, offices as well as in the acquisition of equipment for teaching and the administrative part. Contrario, with this growth, the university's energy consumption has remained constant from 2006 to 2016 between 500 and 600 MWh / year, due to different activities carried out during the implementation of the energy management program since 2006. This study aims to perform an evaluation of an experimental network for a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 5.0 kW at the University of Ibagué, dimensioning its components. the research methods used were analysis and synthesis, the sizing and the different design phases were involved for a network with 5.0 kWp capacity. The tracking of information necessary for the execution of the different phases of the project was acquired from several sources: electronic, normative and scientific-academic. We selected 20 solar panels of the brand CANADIAN SOLAR of 270 W polycrystalline and an inverter XTENDER reference X TH 6000. It was possible to define the specific characteristics of the wiring and ground pole, as well as the design of the corresponding metallic structure. As well as feasibility: where the estimated budget was COP $ 32.222.676, with a return on investment of approximately 9.7 years, for the presented design. The results reveal a viability according to the parameters established within the guidelines of the macroproject.
- PublicaciónRestringidoDesarrollo de un plan de mercadeo y análisis del nivel de posicionamiento para la empresa Royal Films Ibagué 2017(Universidad de Ibagué., 2018) Balbuena Rubio, Julieth; Saavedra Guzmán, Juan José; Rodríguez Lozano, María Camila; García , PaulaRoyal Films, a company dedicated to the film industry, arrived in the city of Ibagué approximately in 2014. It was located in the Acqua Power Center thanks to the friendly relationship between Mr. Jaime Osman and the owners of the mall. The arrival of Royal Films cinema promised a high expectation, however, it found two competitors that threatened its entry and positioning in the city. The first of them was recognized by its trajectory at the local level, a cinema owned by the United States and the house Cine Mark Holdings, Inc., internationally positioned as one of the three most recognized chains in the world, Cinemark managed to position itself in the city of Ibagué and be recognized for its special days and offers in confectionery. The second competitor is Cine Colombia, a company that belongs to the Santo Domingo Group and has a national presence, which in a short time managed to position itself as the leader in prices and positioning. With the panorama that Royal Films was experiencing, the company's managers and administrators were not satisfied with the sales made and the positioning obtained to date, as the Ibagueran population had little knowledge of the company and film strategies, became ineffective ways to achieve the proposed objectives. The Royal Films brand in Ibagué managed to position itself with the image of a costly cinema, and due to a lack of investment in advertising or directing of its advertising concepts, the brand has lost the opportunity for its potential clients to know the different services available in the cinema. Another factor that affects the positioning of the company is the location in which it is, and this depends to some extent on the concept that has the shopping center Acqua Power Center in the mind of the Ibaguereños. According to what has been expressed, this document contains: an analysis of micro and macro environment, the results of market research, and finally, a marketing plan that seeks to identify the factors that have the greatest influence on the current positioning of the company, as well as finding different alternatives and strategies that support a viable solution for the film company.

- PublicaciónRestringidoDiseño y evaluación de intervención en la glorieta de la carrera 5 con calle 44 en Ibagué(Universidad de Ibagué, 2018) Parra Montoya, Oscar Eduardo; Jíménez Pérez, Edgar RamiroOne of the main problems affecting the different cities of the world is mobility; and the city of Ibagué, capital of the department of Tolima in Colombia, is no exception. The most inconvenient places are road intersections, and this is reflected in their high accident rates and evident congestion at peak demand times. The use of roundabouts has increased considerably due to their high capacity to manage and make motorized traffic safer, but the impact is not so positive on pedestrians and cyclists; this is why the objective of this project is to design a proposal for geometric intervention to improve the current conditions of the roundabout of the 5th and 44th streets in Ibagué, following the recommendations of the Global Guide to Street Design (National Association of City Transportation Officials, 2014). This with the aim of reducing the number of traffic accidents in the city, prioritizing the traditionally forgotten users and organizing vehicle flows. Starting from a topographic survey, an inventory of physical conditions, identifying mobility patterns, use and functions of the street space. With the analysis of this information, an intervention model will be made that transforms the current conditions of the intersection, prioritizing non-motorized users and organizing the other modes of transport.

- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoMecanismos jurídicos de acceso a la salud mental en Colombia en época de pandemia(Universidad de Ibagué, 2022) Palacio Zarate, David Alexander; Salamanca Santos, María del PilarThe health right in Colombia was founded under the parameters of the Law 100 of 1993, which implemented a private health service provision system, where the state subsidizes low-income citizens so they can access to the services. that were stipulated in the so-called POS (compulsory health plan), however, since its implementation, the system seems to present various problems in different fields, among which the lack of coverage and care deficiency are particularly relevant. For these reasons, since the implementation, it is recurrent that in Colombia the constitutional action of Guardianship enshrined in article 86 of the 1991 political constitution is used, so that through this mechanism designed to guarantee fundamental rights in an expeditious manner, the access to health services despite the fact that this is not exactly a fundamental right, but through rulings such as T-760 of 2008 issued by the Honorable Constitutional Court, the connection of this right with the fundamental right to life and principle of human dignity on which the Social State of Law is based. In this context, the right to mental health in Colombia is one of the health care fields where there is evidence of a high rate of constitutional actions in search of guaranteeing the service, which stands out with special importance in times of the Covid 19 pandemic. where isolation generated an increase in mental health problems and it became more difficult to access timely treatment. In that order, taking into account the internal regulations, the pronouncements of the High Courts and the context of the pandemic, this work aims to identify and analyze the most used legal mechanisms to access mental health care in times of pandemic.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoOpen Banking: oportunidades y retos para su implementación(Universidad de Ibagué, 2022) Melo Trujillo, Daniel Mauricio; Melo Trujillo, CamiloThe implementation of digitalization technology and the management of large amounts of data has become the tool with the greatest use and positive effect on business competitive development, in which financial institutions are also participants, with the new business model called Open Banking. In this sense, a monographic work was proposed in order to analyze the benefits, changes and opportunities of Open Banking as a new business model for banks and companies, as well as the main challenges involved in its implementation. In order to achieve this purpose, a documentary review was carried out from specialized academic databases, indexed scientific journals and institutional repositories. Among the findings, it is highlighted the need for financial institutions to perceive the new business model as an opportunity and not as a threat, for which it is required to educate users to learn to use digital platforms with a greater approach to it, focusing education on those customers reluctant to the digital world. Also, the shift to open banking could bring great uncertainties and fears for banks, however, should be assumed as benefits and opportunities for change to a new technological market, where costs are minimized with respect to innovation, creativity and marketing of products and services.
