- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoSistema autónomo y portátil de monitoreo y análisis de la irradiancia solar para zonas rurales o urbanas(Universidad de Ibagué., 2019) Rojas Guzmán, Lis Dayanara; Morales Cardoso, Andrés Felipe; Londoño Marín, William Alexander; López Santos, OswaldoCurrently in Colombia, information on environmental parameters is provided by two leading institutions in the country, the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies IDEAM and the UPME Mining-Energy Planning Unit; at the regional level information on climate change alerts is presented and specifically in Ibagué the maximum and minimum temperature values are presented, evaporation, humidity, sun gloss and precipitation, which can be accessed through official websites or through requests data via email. However, in the monitoring stations that IDEAM has implemented in the city of Ibagué, no measurements are made with respect to solar radiation or changes that it may have in relation to climatic variations, natural effects such as clouds, shadows or some other disturbance that may affect it. The latter causes the need to have a device or system that it is able to perform this monitoring that allows to know the solar radiation values at different times of the day; significantly important for the development of other practices in areas such as agriculture, engineering or research in different branches such as medicine for the prevention of diseases by solar radiation effects such as skin cancer. This work presents the process of designing and implementing a system capable of measuring and monitoring solar radiation using a topology master-slave, which, through two-way communication, allows to know the solar radiation values of an area either urban or rural, and then the measurement results obtained are presented.
