The results obtained by using this type of biomass as a cementing agent were found to help improve the wear resistance and hardness of steel. In the results obtained it became clear that the coffee eraser charcoal raises the carbon content on the surface of the discs, acquiring a layer depth (1251.16 to 1287.03) µm with an increase in hardness of 27 HRC at 56 HRC and a loss of mass up to 0.0423g.
