- PublicaciónRestringidoPercepción de las competencias adquiridas por los practicantes de psicología del área clínica de la Universidad de Ibagué(Ediciones Unibagué, 2019-12) Osorio García, Charly VanessaThis research is for the purpose to describe the perception about clinical skills acquired by trainees of Clinical Psychology area of the Ibagué university. This, through a descriptive qualitative analysis, in which thirty-four students of ninth and tenth semester participated. In the results obtained, it was found that students are competent with respect to the skills training process. The skills with the highest level of self-perception are: Psychological reports, diagnostic interviews and individual intervention, guidance to parents, basic use of computer packages, knowledge of classical psychological models; those of lower level are palliative care, evaluation and intervention in neuropsychology, psychoeducational tests, development of psychological evaluation instruments and preparation of scientific research proposals. It was found as the level of experience increases; self-perception levels decrease. It was concluded that considering that when facing the professional area and being close to graduating, it generates a reflection in terms of skills and in that way consider the need to have a better preparation and training to face suitability in their professional life.

This by means of a qualitative analysis of a descriptive type, in which 34 students of the following subjects participated the ninth and tenth semesters of psychology who are doing their professional internships in the clinical area. Among the results was found that the students are considered moderately competent in respect of the skills acquired during their academic education. The competencies with the highest level of self-perception are: psychological reports, interviews, etc. diagnostics and individual intervention, guidance for parents use of computer packages basic, knowledge of classic psychological models and those of lower level are cared for. evaluation and intervention in neuropsychology, psychoeducational tests, development of psychological evaluation instruments and elaboration of scientific research proposals. It was found that as the level of experience increases, the levels of experience decrease. self-perception. it was concluded that it considers that when confronted with the professional area and being to graduate, it generates a reflection in terms of the capacities and in that way consider the need for greater preparation and training to cope with the challenges of the suitability in your professional life.
