- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPasos peatonales seguros en la carrera 5 entre la calle 10 y la intersección con el Sena(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Meza Criollo, Juliana Patricia; García Naranjo, Néstor Andrés; Jiménez Pérez, Edgar RamiroIn the present project it is proposed to study the reorganization of the pedestrian passages present in the fifth race, between 10th street and the intersection of SENA, with the objective of resolving mobility conflicts between pedestrians and motorized and non-motorized means of transport. This general objective is proposed because of the deficiency in inclusion for all users of this street, because this generates the need to rethink the operation and distribution of pedestrian crossings for greater efficiency. In the first place an analysis of the study site will be carried out, which will allow to determine in an observational manner the way the community transits in this space, involving the main affected, in order to determine the most concurrent crossings, being these pedestrian crossings evaluated in two ways, those already existing with their respective interaction and the possible ones to be carried out depending on the needs required. Allowing to develop a vision of the project in order to improve the safety, appearance, feel and function of the pedestrian crossings. Finally, the types of pedestrian crossings that will benefit users will be determined and designed.
