- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoDiseño de bioingeniería para la mitigación de riesgo de remoción en masa en la microcuenca de la quebrada Cay(Universidad de Ibagué, 2018) Muñoz Sánchez, Alvaro Hernando; Carvajal Tabares, Jhonny Alexander; Hernández López, Jorge ArmandoThe relief of the hilly Cay, mountainous for the most part, favors the occurrence of mass removal processes, a condition that has been manifested due to changes in coverage and land use. In the city of Ibagué there are water problems due to the fact that the tributaries have turbidity and since the Cay falls partly from the water resource to the population, it has forced the supply system to guarantee the continuous service due to the exponential increase in the inhabitants. The methodology consisted in a description of the zones affected by instability in the basin, identifying the morphometric parameters of the microbasin using the SIG tools through the ArcGIS 10.3 software, areas of threats were identified; designing a risk classification locating sectors that may be prone to removal, based on terrain characteristics; Following this, field visits corroborated the presumed zones and in the case of removal, a bioengineering model was designed using soil tools with the Slide Rocscience program. To develop the research, the general objective was to design bioengineering works in the risk areas of the Cay Creek, as specific objectives were identified the areas of mass removal and the bioengineering technique was defined according to the morphometric characteristics of the Cay basin. As a result, a slope was identified that has a road in its crown; sector that is prone to removal, which is proposed to be intervened with a green gabion, complying as a methodology of bioengineering, which was made the corresponding checks of quantitative verification of improvement.
- PublicaciónRestringidoEvaluación de la ronda hídrica quebrada El Pañuelo definida por el POT de Ibagué con base en métodos hidrológicos(Universidad de Ibagué, 2018) Delgado Ramírez, Luis Sebastián; Hernández López, Jorge ArmandoThe Quebrada el Pañuelo is a micro-basin that belongs to the sub-basin of the Chipalo River, which flows into the northwest of the city of Ibagué in the department of Tolima. This micro-basin crosses the San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz neighborhoods. the commune 2 of Ibagué. The historical data of natural phenomena presented in the micro basin justify the decision to modify the water round indicated in the territorial planning plan. At present, there is a great variety of software that allows to create flood events through geo-referenced modeling; In this document, the water round is determined using two software, called HEC-RAS, which contains different useful and necessary tools to process geospatial data supported by another software called ArcGIS 10.3, which is incorporated by means of import documents and export, this allows to collect, manage and analyze large volumes of data associated and spatially referred attributes, resulting in the image of the terrain with a TIN geometry (file of three-dimensional elevation of the terrain). Through this document, the new water round or flood level is established at approximately 6 meters, justifying the size of the new water round. Which should be included in the municipal POT, which will benefit directly from the community of commune 2 of Ibagué. The methodology consists of three phases; the first phase is the research phase in which the morphometric parameters are determined and the ravine is delimited, in order to know its shape, texture and other characteristics that compose it, the second phase is the application, in this the maximum flow rates are determined and the elevation of the micro-basin is modeled in HEC-RAS; The third and final phase is the analytical one, where the flood zone of the stream is determined by means of an analysis of results.
