- PublicaciónRestringidoPropuesta para el mejoramiento de la operación del centro de distribución de la empresa FIBRANDINA S.A.S(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Godoy Olivera, Laura Daniela; Méndez Oviedo, Jessica Katherine; Ramírez Rubio, Angie Marcela; Meisel Donoso, Carlos AntonioThe object of this study is the Fibrandina company, dedicated to the marketing and distribution of textiles in the city of Ibagué-Tolima, and is mainly formulated to respond to the disagreement expressed by some executives of the organization in relation to to the current operation of the distribution center, this caused by different factors, such as the number of operators, the execution of operations, workflow and their respective time, which have affected the performance of the center, increasing operating costs and decreasing its competitiveness According to the above, the study of methods and times was carried out in order to identify and evaluate the method of work applied, in the same way determining performance indicators. After having carried out the study, it was determined what two operators are needed in the Distribution Center, but nevertheless, it will be considered if some tasks performed by the warehouse manager are eliminated, a second person would not be needed. In addition, the analysis of the study evaluates to propose an adjusted and more organized work structure, as well as different recommendations regarding the environment and the work development space, in order to control the performance of the Fibrandina Distribution Center operations and to give response to the market and the needs of the company, in an economical, efficient and practical way.
