- PublicaciónSólo datosCaracterización del estilo de vida saludable en una muestra de habitantes de las zonas rurales del Tolima(Ediciones unibagué, 2019-12-19) Puerta-Cortés, Diana Ximena; González-Santos, Jeni MarcelaThe objective of the study was to characterize the healthy lifestyle of a sample of dwellers from different rural areas located in Tolima, habits and risk behaviors that can affect their health were investigated. In the scoping study with cross-sectional design, 136 people participated (44.9 % women and 55.1 % men), between 18 and 83 years old. Questionnaires on sociodemographic data, eating habits, the AUDIT test and the CAGE were applied. The results show that men are more physically active than women. However, their eating habits are inadequate, and they have a higher or severe risk of alcohol consumption. In conclusion, it is important to provide empirical evidence to understand and intervene in the lifestyle of rural dwellers.

For this occasion, we have selected six project reports developed within the framework of the following Research and Transfer Programs (PRIT): Education and well-being for integral human development, Laws and justice for citizen coexistence, Service industry with high added value and internationally renowned, and Innovative technology-based agribusiness. In addition, in order to contribute to the formation of research experiences, Indagare magazine has decided to give a space to those who have started on the path of academic writing, a space dedicated to recording pedagogical experiences of the International Summer School 2019.
