- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEfectos en la resistencia del concreto con la variación de la gradación de los agregados(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Benites Rodríguez, Sandra Leonor; Gómez Pardo, Erika Alexandra; Espinosa Ospina, Lina KatherinThis project seeks different designs of mixtures that were added with the traditional gradations given by NTC C174, where the requirements for granulometry, gradation and the quality of concrete aggregates are defined. So that, in this way they can be compared with the results obtained in the resistance reached from the cylinders of concrete made with conventional and non-conventional gradations. In this way through the years in civil engineering refers to concrete mixtures specific values have been normalized, for the required characteristics of the structural elements of the buildings, as for example in the case of the gradations of the aggregates for the realization of the concrete the characteristics in the particle size of the fine and coarse aggregates have been normalized, mainly the sands and the economies of the elaboration of the concrete, because the very fine sands are normally uneconomical, whereas sands and gravels are thick It can produce mixtures without workability. With the obtained results were identified that with mixture for gradations 2 y 3, from 19 mm and 50 mm, these results improved in an average of 42% and 49% for 28 days concrete Cylinders. For gradations 1 y 4 the resistances decreased in a 34% and 24.3% In this way, the objective of this paper is determine through the final resistances for the conventional gradations with the objective of reduce costs or to improve the resistances for structural elements.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoSelección de un material de construcción desarrollado con subproductos de la agrocadena del café (SAC) a partir de la aplicación de técnicas multicriterio(Universidad de Ibagué, 2021) Aguirre Rodríguez, Laura Valentina; Sánchez Echeverri, Luz Adriana; Salazar Camacho, Natalia AndreaThe present research assistance is developed around the realization of a technological surveillance that allows to form a supported base of information to the research project “Evaluation of harvest by-products and transformation of prioritized agro-chains in Tolima for obtaining construction materials. Rice and Coffee Case”. The research focuses specifically on exploring through the implementation of a technological surveillance, previous studies about construction materials made by by-products or residues of a coffee agro-chain, followed by this, the identification is carried out, through the application of the AHP multi-criteria method to Viable alternatives of construction materials in which the SACs of the department of Tolima can be implemented and in this way highlight regional capacities around the department's coffee production. Finally, with the data obtained, the coffee husk was identified as the best selection of SAC as a result, applied in the manufacture of cement to be subsequently implemented in the continuity of the research base project.
