- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEstudio del comportamiento de geo-celdas elaboradas a partir de llantas usadas, mediante pruebas de carga cíclicas en vías no pavimentadas(Universidad de Ibagué., 2019) Barrera León, Daniel; Franco Rodríguez, Harwint Frandey; Salazar Susunaga, María PaulaThis research work allows the study and analysis of the mechanical properties of geo-cells made with used tires; its purpose is to determine and analyze the behavior of the cells that generate confinement in a granular material and which, in addition, was subjected to subjected to mutiple loads in a period defined by the máximum deformation experienced by said material; following an experimental methodology with application of cyclic loads in facilities of the University of Ibague, to compare the deformations and pressures in materials without any reinforcement and with reinforcement base don tire geocells. As a result of the tests, it was analyzed and it could be concluded that the interaction between the granular soil and the geocells porduced a greater resistance to axial deformation and decrease in internal layer pressures; being a posible alternative in the development of imporvement of third level roads.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoIdentificación de parámetros de comportamiento mecánicos de miembros tubulares de acero sometidos a carga cíclica(Universidad de Ibagué., 2020) Ramos González, Nicolás Daniel; Guerrero Chávez, Néstor LuisOn this work, we are going to identify parameters that are related to mechanical behaviors of square sections which are subjected to combined efforts of flexion compression which are produced by cyclic loads. From these experimental results which were made on tubular square section elements that were tested in Universidad Centro Occidental Lisandro Alvarado (Venezuela). Behavior Curves will be obtained for different values of axial load (0%, 15%, 25%, 40%) from the maximum axial load of the element with length 1200 mm and cross section (120 mm x 120 mm x 4 mm). The parameters to be determined would be yielding rotation, yielding momentum, ultimate rotation, ultimate momentum and critical rotation, which is the inelastic rotation at which the buckling occurs. These parameters will be used to define the plastic level values to be used in different behavior models used in different commercial structural software.
