- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCaracterización de la cadena de recuperación de llantas usadas en Ibagué(Universidad de Ibagué, 2019) Basto Murillo, Jorge Luis; Pérez Gutiérrez, Jhon Alexander; García León, AndrésThe purpose of this research proposal wais to characterize the reverse chain linked to the recovery of used tires in the Ibagué city. The characterization required analyzing the relevant aspects involved in the design such as: knowledge of current legislation for the disposal of this type of waste, which is enshrined in Resolution 1326 of 2017 of the Ministry of Environment and its modifications, the actors that they intervene in the different links, among which are the used tire generators, the description of the collection practices, the storage, the destination of the waste and the final disposal. The overall objective will be achieved by developing three specific objectives. The first is oriented to the description of the legislation in force in the country for the disposal of this waste and the search for relevant aspects to develop the investigation. The second is related to the estimation of used tires that are generated in the city of Ibagué, the flows that follow and the identification of the actors involved in each point of the chain. Finally, the third objective is to carry out a diagnosis that allows for the sizing of the existing environmental, social and economic problems in the recovery chain through the analysis of the information collected and through the field work in the development of the research.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoCaracterización de la cadena de recuperación de baterías de uso automotriz en Ibagué(Universidad de Ibagué, 2021) Pardo Ruiz, Angie Lizeth; Lozano Galvis, Andrés Felipe; García León, AlbertoThe design of supply chains with a modern vision of logistics does not only imply the exclusive consideration of economic aspects but also the preservation of the environment and, therefore, of sustainable development. This last consideration leads to the importance of efficient waste management, with the 3R approach (Reduction, Reuse and Recycling) being a source of added value generation that aims to develop habits such as responsible consumption. Like any other supply chain, reverse flow chains are highly complicated, requiring decision-making processes based on facilities, transportation, and inventory management to simultaneously minimize costs and environmental impact. The present research aims to characterize the automotive battery recovery chain in Ibagué. The above is due to the fact that the sustainable development of the city is directly affected by this problem because this material does not have its due recovery process, thus being exposed to the environment, generating negative impacts. In addition, inefficient battery management leads to wasted business opportunities and job creation, obstructing a source of value generation in the post-consumption phase. It should be noted that there is little research carried out for the design of supply chains dedicated to the recovery of used batteries because most of these focus on solutions for single product chains and for a simple period in not very adaptable environments. to the local context. Therefore, in this research, references will be studied at a national and international level that lead to the proposal of value generation for interested parties.
Caso Ibagué.(Universidad de Ibagué, 2020) Ariza Espitia, Andrea Carolina; Rojas Trujillo, Anggie Nathalia; García León, Andrés Albertopresent work of degree is a research that aims to characterize the inverse chain for the recovery of plastic bottles from the consumption of water and soft drinks in the urban context (City of Ibague). Field visits were carried out, where it became clear that the final disposal of the bottles is a very notorious environmental problem, which leads to the importance of efficient waste management (reduction, reuse and recycling) as a source of added value generation in the urban context. A compilation of information was carried out through the database and the current Colombian environmental standard related to integrated waste management, which serves as a guide for the implementation of the environmental proposal for the recovery of plastic packaging, the aim being to characterise the actors involved in the recovery chain when learning about value generation alternatives, enabling them to be represented in the context by means of surveys and interviews aimed at different public or private entities or organisations, which serves as a guide for the analysis of favourable factors and allows a good result to be obtained in the case of the recovery of plastic bottles. A diagnosis is also made to assess the environmental problem, social and economic value in the recovery chain to be able to determine the economic value it generates by analyzing the information collected to design and implement solutions strategies. The aim of the project is to formulate proposals for the recovery of plastic bottles that will guide the organizations in the use of the packaging, bearing in mind the added value and the sustainable development it can generate.
