With this approach, the theme chosen for the following investigation allows to identify and evaluate the promotion strategies used by hotels 3, 4 and 5 stars in the municipality of Melgar. Likewise, a qualitative research is carried out carrying out the in-depth interview, it is necessary to clarify, the interview is directed to the entrepreneurs of the most representative hotels in the municipality, according to the database provided by Chamber and Commerce was chosen nine hotels which are: El Bosque Hotel, Hotel Los Melgar Toboggans, Hotel Mediterraneo, Hotel Villa del Rosario, Hotel El Diamante, Hotel Alborada, Hotel Gran Paraíso, Hotel Damayu and finally the Hotel Anamichu Suites. In addition, this work is carried out with the purpose that the content is useful for entrepreneurs, students, teachers and others interested in the subject, which will allow the managers of the organizations to restructure their marketing strategies in order to improve the brand image and positioning.
